adsl broadband internet
From right around Australia, sublime//ip provides broadband ADSL access offering high speed coupled with great technical and client service.
Real broadband experience
Unlike many ISPs claiming to offer broadband, we only offer real broadband, with speeds starting from 1500 Mbps (1.5 Mbps). In areas with compatible equipment at the local phone exchange, we are also among the first ISPs in Australia to be offering ADSL2 services with speeds up to 12 Mbps.

Traffic and shaping
Our ADSL plans are a fixed monthly cost for your peace of mind. If you exceed the volume limit, traffic is shaped (slowed down) to 72K. Volume limit is calculated as a 30-day rolling average.
You can check your current and historical volume usage as well as traffic shaping status online via the Client Service site. Only downloads are counted towards your volume limit. Uploads are free.
Mailboxes and extra users
- Our ADSL services include 10 mailboxes in the base monthly price. Extra mailboxes are available for just $2.20 per month. There is no limit to the number of mailboxes that can be linked to your account. Your additional mailboxes can be accessed with any normal POP3 compatible email program (e.g. Outlook, Eudora, Thunderbird) or accessed via our Webmail service.
- There is no charge for connecting extra users to your broadband service and you are welcome to share it within your home or office using a suitable broadband router. Configuration and ongoing management of shared connections is not part of our standard technical support, but we can refer you to a technician to provide assistance with local networking issues on request.
ADSL billing and service term
- All plans are paid 3-monthly in advance (or monthly billing is available on request if you're paying by credit card auto-billing). We accept payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club), cheque, money order, BPAY, or electronic funds transfer.
- A once-off setup fee of $110 applies for all ADSL connections. You need to either have your own ADSL modem or router or we can supply one for you at competitive prices (e.g. D-Link or Netcomm).
- ADSL accounts are billed on a three monthly cycle, and the minimum term is just three months. There are no long term contracts to sign. Your first payment will be for the $99 setup fee, the first three month's service payable in advance. You will also need to budget for purchase of an ADSL modem or router if you do not already have one.
- You can cancel your ADSL service should you need to do so by notifying us in writing. A minimum of 30-days notice is required prior to your next 3-monthly billing date. Pre-paid amounts are not refundable but you can of course continue to use the service until the end of the time for which you have paid.
- Cancellation within the first 6 months of service will incur a $69 cancellation fee.
Availability
- ADSL availability is subject to many factors, such as your location, distance from the local telephone exchange, availability of spare ADSL ports at the exchange and so on.
- Maximum line speed is also affected by various factors, particularly distance from the exchange, and this may limit the maximum speed available to your location.
Fixed IP address
- All our Business ADSL plans include fixed IP addressing for no additional cost. This allows you to use your connection as a server with a static IP address (e.g. to run an in-house mail or web server).
- Our Flat Out ADSL Home services use dynamic IP addressing in the interests of efficiency. This means your computer may receive a different IP address each time you connect. This is fine for most uses.
