Due to infrastructure requirements, ADSL2 is not available at all telephone exchanges. The network is growing rapidly though and new locations are becoming available every month.

If you're in an exchange area that supports ADSL2, we'll set the broadband connection to go as fast as it can go - starting from 1.5 Mbps and up to 24 Mbps.

Reaching higher speeds will depend on the distance you are from your exchange and the quality of your line. Additional factors to be aware of include signal strength, the number of joins in your line, and factors within your home such as unfiltered devices and lengthy phone cords. In addition, you may require new hardware to access speeds up to 24,000kbps.
